A personal note from Jenni Prokopy, the Editrix: Helping each other through a bad storm season (9/2/2008)
As Jenni write this letter, Hurricane Gustav was about to make landfall on the Gulf Coast, and Tropical Storm Hanna threatened the East Coast. Many people in our country were impacted by these storms, including numerous young women with chronic illness—women who are already dealing with incredible challenges. This note asks: How you can be of service during this challenging time? Can you donate money to the American Red Cross? Are you able to volunteer with a local relief organization? Even now that the trouble is past, perhaps you can find a way to help.
