Gastrointestinal Disorders

Gastrointestinal disorders affect mass amounts of people, according to the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders. In fact, they tell us that as many as 10% to 15% of people live with irritable bowel syndrome - and that's just one of many disorders that exist. Here are some great resources on a variety of conditions.

The IBS Tales Hope Award 2007 - ChronicBabe Wins!

ChronicBabe is honored to have received an inspiring award: the IBS Tales "Hope Award."

IBS Tales Hope Award

The awards are presented to Web sites that offer positive support and encouragement to anyone suffering from a chronic medical problem. In particular, they recognize websites that: offer accurate information and resources for patients;encourage sufferers to search for new treatments and hope; and refuse to accept inadequate medical advice and doctors who tell us to "learn to live with it"!

We are thrilled to accept this honor and hope to continue to be a valuable resource for so many women (and men).
