According to the Celiac Disease Foundation, one in 133 people in the U.S. lives with the condition. The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network tells us that about 12 million Americans  have food allergies. It all adds up to some complicated take-out orders! Hands down, one of the best celiac disease blogs around.

Gluten-Free Girl offers up great tips, recipes, product referrals, and most importantly, tons of insider perspective on her experience with the disease. We love it!

GlutenFree

Buy gluten-free bread, cereal, and desserts in this nifty online shop.

Who needs gluten? Not you, man. Not with GlutenFree. This site sells everything from cold cereal to scone mix, all of it aimed at folks with celiac disease or other gluten issues. Let us know how those Frosted PerkyOs are, will you?

National Foundation for Celiac Awareness

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness is committed to finding a cure for the disease. But in the meantime, it offers some terrific resources.

Check out CeliacCentral, their free eNewsletter, or if you're not sure you have the disease, check out this primer on symptoms, tests and treatments. Want to learn to cook gluten-free? Sign up for their Gluten-Free Cooking Sprees, taking place in seven cities in 2007.
