We never thought we'd be writing about her at this site, but turns out, Kim's got the chronic condition psoriasis. So...we're wondering if she'll become a spokeswoman for the condition and help raise awareness and education? Hmmmmm?

Why? Because through this American Able photo piece, you show the world why American Apparel ads kinda suck, and that folks with disabilities can rock just as hard as anyone else in media. We have a total girl crush on you!

Salon reports today on the Daily Caller's coverage of Michelle Bachmann's migraines. Whether you agree with this ChronicBabe's politics or not, lay off the headache bashing, folks. Plenty of great leaders have chronic pain issues and have still been incredible leaders, as Salon points out. Um, FDR, anyone? Come on, Daily Caller, take a chill pill. What do you do for fun, to expand your social life? From informal gatherings with friends to attending cultural events or catching your favorite sports team in person, we will discuss all aspects of social life and how chronic illness impacts it. Food allergies may make dinners out impossible but dinner parties at home are perfect; chronic pain may flare and interrupt big plans; etc. etc. Let's talk social!
