College student gets $100k grant to develop diabetes iPhone app (8/25/2009)
Princeton University junior Matthew Connor got frustrated seeing his pals working so hard to chart their diabetes stats, so he did what any of us would LOVE to do: he won a $100,000 grant to develop an iPhone app to manage it all. Rock!

A MUST-READ: Kerri Morrone Sparline of Six Until Me writes eloquently today about how NOT to speak to someone who's sick, specifically with diabetes (but the advice fits all of us ChronicBabes). Editrix Jenni saw some of this bad behavior firsthand at BlogHer last month with Kerri and was appalled! This is a great post to forward to friends and learn from.
