Here's a song (or 21) to help you sleep
by Jenni Prokopy, the Editrix
I've been having trouble sleeping lately, lots on my mind and lots going on are combining to mess with my sleep schedule. So just like the breathe playlist I created a couple months, this playlist is designed with a specific purpose: to get me thinking about sleep. I think you'll love it too! It's not a collection of songs that will put you to sleep, but rather a gathering of all kinds of music about sleep. But I did put some nice soothing tunes at the end to wind you down. Enjoy! (And if you have more suggestions, let me know...and perhaps I'll make a Sleep 2 list!)
Let's Go to Bed - The Cure
Train to Chicago - Mike Doughty
Mlk - U2
Sleeping on the Roof - The Flaming Lips
A Song to Help You Sleep - Josh Rouse
Lullaby - Alana Davis
California Stars - Jeff Tweedy
Who Needs Sleep? - Barenaked Ladies
Sleeping Sun - Coldplay
When You Sleep - Cake
Sleep - Imogen Heap
Singing in My Sleep - Dan Wilson (or Semisonic)
Sleep All Day - The Rural Alberta Advantage
Sleepyhead - Passion Pit
Sleeper, Awake - John Wesley Harding
No Time to Sleep - Tina Dico
Go to Sleep (Little Man Being Erased) - Radiohead
Soft and Sleep - The Sea and Cake
Bedtime Story - Madonna
Lullaby - Dixie Chicks
Headphones - Björk
P.S. A last suggestion from a fellow ChronicBabe: James Taylor & Carly Simon: Close Your Eyes. Enjoy!
