Three things we love: jeans for curvy gals, snazzy inhaler cases, and lovely heating pads

by Jenni Prokopy, the Editrix

It's been a super-busy couple weeks here at ChronicBabe HQ, where I'm unpacking, decorating, organizing...and otherwise feeling overwhelmed. As a Babe with fibromyalgia, I have to manage my energy, so unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time to write articles...but I HAVE had time to check out a few products that I want to share with you.

Toombas Jeans... love my curves!

toombas jeansA couple years ago, I wrote about how frustrating it was to find a good pair of jeans. Lots of ChronicBabes have written in since then to recommend their favorites, but none of them ever wowed me, and I had come to accept that every pair of jeans I buy would be custom-tailored to fit my curvy physique. That is, until Toombas sent me a pair of their low-rise jeans. Ladies, I am in love.

It's been eons since I pulled on a pair of jeans that fit perfectly: not insanely long, not with a huge gap at my lower gap, not squeezing my thighs like sausage casings. These jeans are fabulous! The denim is very soft, with a little stretch and some nice detailing. They shrink just slightly in the wash, and in fact fit even better right out of the dryer.

I can't say enough about these jeans. If you have a curvy physique and want to give a new brand a try, check out Toombas Jeans and tell them ChronicBabe sent you.

EndoFemm Heating Pads... easing my pain

endofemm heating/cooling padMost ChronicBabes know I love a good heating pad, but I prefer to make them myself. But I've found a new heating pad that is fantastic! It's the EndoFemm Heating/Cooling Pad, and it's my new best friend.

The pad is shaped like 2-dimensional panties, which I find hilarious aesthetically...but it's a genius idea. For ladies with endometriosis, irritable bowel syndrome, interstitial cystitis, vulvodynia or just plain old menstrual cramps, the shape is just right—it covers all the necessary bits.

I've used it to tackle cramps a couple times, and my favorite way is to heat it up in the microwave, and then spend 10 minutes lying on my back with the pad on my pelvis, and 10 minutes lying on my stomach with the pad on my lower back and tushy area. (Its shape is also great for lower back pain!) And the best part: it comes in attractive colors. I can't wait until they release it in orange! Do yourself a favor and check out the EndoFemm Heating/Cooling Pad, and let us know what you think.

Respire Inhaler Cases... keeping my inhaler safe and chic

respire inhaler caseI hate the way my inhaler looks all on its own. So bland! So I love opportunities to dress up or disguise my inhaler. That's why I'm a big fan of Respire Inhaler Cases. They're simple and sleek, and they withstand a good deal of banging around in my handbags. The cases come in two sizes to accommodate a variety of brands, and in two finishes (satin chrome and glossy chrome) to fit your taste. It's got a nice shape that feels good in your hand, and the magnetic closure makes it a snap to use (literally).

I knew I had hit on a winner a couple months ago when I was approached at my pool by an admirer, who asked where I got my case. That is, the pool at the insurance-sponsored temporary apartment I and the hubby were occupying while our condo was rebuilt. The snazzy downtown high-rise apartment where everyone looked fabulous at every moment. The snooty apartment where accessories mattered.

Now my inhalers travel in style using a Respire Inhaler Case. Check them out, Babes, and I think you'll be impressed.

Have a product you want ChronicBabe to review?

First: We only print reviews of products we love, so we don't review every item we receive. Sorry folks, but we don't want to waste the time of our readers.

Second: Before you drop off your package at the post office, send us an email about your item and why you think ChronicBabes would be interested. Once we receive your item, we'll let you know if it's going to be reviewed, and we'll send you a link when we get around to it. Sometimes Editrix Jenni will try it out, and sometimes our objective third-party testers will. (We're busy Babes!)

Third: Send your item to ChronicBabe HQ: 3712 N. Broadway, #628, Chicago, IL 60613. Thanks!

P.S.: Shopping? Use our Amazon links and help us earn commissions that fund this site. Thanks!
