Win free stuff! We're giving away 5 copies of "Beyond Casseroles: 505 Ways to Encourage a Chronically Ill Friend
We here at ChronicBabe HQ are so spoiled! Editrix Jenni has a great support team full of people who always find ways to help when she's in need. Years ago, it wasn't that way - and boy, does she wish she'd had Lisa's book then!
Whether you're a ChronicBabe who wants to teach friends and family about the many little ways they can help, or a ChronicPal who wants to get creative in supporting a friend, this book is for you.
Lisa founded Rest Ministries as a Christian organization that serves people who are living with chronic illness or pain. Lisa's generously given us five copies of Beyond Casseroles: 505 Ways to Encourage a Chronically Ill Friend, and while we LOVE the book, it's just not fair of us to hog them all to ourselves. So we devised a little contest:
Who should enter:
If you're a ChronicBabe, think about the most thoughtful or creative way someone has helped you. Describe what they did, and how it made you feel. Provide as many details as possible.
If you're a ChronicPal, describe the most unique or thoughtful (or ingenious or outrageous) way you've ever helped out a friend in need. How did it make her (and you) feel? How did it change your relationship?
A few rules:
Email your stories to Editrix Jenni by May 18.* She'll sift through all the entries and announce five winners on May 21.
You must include your first and last name, and your mailing address, to be eligible to win. Otherwise, how will we know where to send your book?
Everyone's a winner! All entrants will be signed up for a free subscription to the Goodie Bag eNewsletter, published every other Tuesday. (If you're already a subscriber, then you know what a nice freebie that is.)
And later...
We'll run the winning stories, and some of the runners-up, in an article at ChronicBabe.com. That way we can all share the love, and the great ideas. So get writing ladies! And if you have questions, email us. And if you want to thank Lisa for this opportunity, stop on by Rest Ministries and let her know.
* All entries become the property of ChronicBabe.com and we reserve the right to publish them on the web site or any other format.
