Chronically Sexy: Meet Searah Deysach, our newest columnist

About once a month, Searah will answer your questions about sex and sensuality for Chronic Babes.

Searah is the celebrated owner of Early to Bed, a Chicago-based store and web site that sells sex toys and erotic gifts to people of all genders and orientations. She hosts frequent educational workshops, recently produced her first adult film, writes an advice column for Punk Planet, and her store has been voted Chicago's "best sex shop." The girl knows sexy! (She's also one of The Real Hot 100.)

Why a sex columnist?

As Chronic Babes, we have lots going on with our bodies, and much of what we experience has an impact on our love lives. But Searah has some tricks up her sleeve to help ensure you have a healthy and happy bedroom life, no matter what your chronic is.

To make this column really zing, we need your help. Send us your questions, and Searah will take her best shot. You can ask questions anonymously and we promise not to share all your identifying details with readers - just your first name, and your chronic(s). (Only Jenni the Editrix and Searah will see your e-mail messages.)

When you write us, please include:

We can't guarantee to answer every question we receive, but we'll do our best. If we decide to answer yours, we'll let you know by e-mail before the answer is posted.

And: Searah's column will complement Isobel's pieces nicely - we'll have the sick chick perspective, and the expert opinion.

Chronically Sexy

Our mission is to help women with chronic illness learn to feel sexy again, so you can enjoy the emotional and physical benefits of a great love life, solo or with partners. This is your chance to ask that burning question that's maybe a little too personal for the doctor's office - and the answer will help many other women out there. Don't be shy!

P.S.

We realize that some readers may not be interested in this subject, or may be uncomfortable with the frankness of the material. But we feel it's important to have honest and open discussions about sex and sensuality. We spend so much time being frustrated with our bodies - why not learn all we can about how to enjoy them?
