Best. T-shirts. Ever.
by Jenni Prokopy
I have found the best. t-shirts. ever. (Actually, my good pal Sundee found them - what a network of Babes I've built!) MedTees.com offers hilarious t-shirts for chronic folk, guaranteed to get a laugh and scare away the pink elephant in the room.
<- My personal favorite. As a very young person I would laugh when people said this, but now I get the joke. The t-shirts are available in a wide variety of sizes, colors and styles. Another personal favorite says simply, "I Inhale."
And there are a ton more styles to choose from, for folks with chronics and for their caregivers.
The MedTees project was developed by Westby G. Fisher, MD, FACC. Dr. Fisher is a board certified internist, cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist practicing in the Chicago, IL metro area.
He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, Chicago, IL and is also a Captain in the US Naval Reserves. His wife, Diane, has her PhD in clinical psychology. Collectively, they have over 40 years of patient-care experience.
Their philosophy: "We pick up where diagnosis and treatment leave off. That is, what happens AFTER the dust settles and you go home and they CAN'T fix what's wrong or the fix is tough to live with." They've gotten some press here in Chicago, and we at ChronicBabe.com are happy to promote their cause as well.
Can a girl be in love with a t-shirt? Because I definitely am. And the creators donate a good chunk of their proceeds to all kinds of worthy causes. So get shopping!
* P.S. If you shop for MedTees through this link, or click on any of these images, ChronicBabe gets a commission on every sale - so stock up!
