Ride the Cheeto: The power to be ridiculous
by Jenni Prokopy, the Editrix
Sometimes you just need to be ridiculous. Seriously, go for it. Sometimes you just have to ride the cheeto.
If you're a ChronicBabe, you've probably spent - or currently spend - a lot of time dealing with your chronic thing. You probably have a shelf of books on the subject, a ton of Web pages bookmarked. Your ears probably perk up whenever you hear someone talking about your chronic thing. I know mine do.
That can really wear on you. Sometimes you need to just get out of your head and do something else, something wild, something ridiculous to crack yourself up. So here are a few pictures of babes (chronic or not) doing ridiculous things to inspire you:
Example 1: Stage a death and photograph it. Here, my husband, Steve, runs over pal Greg with a tractor, while Natalie, Adrienne, and Greg's wife, Kirsti, look on in horror. Fabulous!

Example 2: Enjoy a cigar and a good cocktail. Or get a tattoo. Either one can be outrageous. Here, my tattoo'd sis Meri enjoys a night out in Miami. (Yes, yes I know, cigars are not good for your health. Sometimes you just gotta take a little gamble. I'm not saying smoke a cigar every day! Jeez.)

Example 3: Oh hell, I don't know what I'm doing here. I think I'm choking on a noise maker. Fun!

So my point is simple: lighten up. Even when you feel your absolute worst, just try doing something ridiculous and see how it feels. And if the mood strikes you, have someone take your picture and send it in so you can crack up other babes!
